How to Download and Install the Downloader App on Firestick, Android TV, and Android TV Boxes
Downloader by AFTVnews lets users enter a URL or short code to download files and APKs directly onto Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV, phones, and tablets.
Firestick / Fire TV Instructions
1. Turn on your Firestick and go to the Home Screen.
2. Select Find or the Search icon.
3. Type Downloader.
4. Select Downloader by AFTVnews.
5. Click Download or Get.
6. Once installed, open Downloader.
7. When prompted, allow the app to access files/media.
Enable Downloader to Install Apps on Firestick
1. Go to Settings.
2. Select My Fire TV.
3. Select Developer Options.
4. Choose Install Unknown Apps.
5. Find Downloader.
6. Turn it ON.
If Developer Options is missing:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Select My Fire TV.
3. Select About.
4. Click your Fire TV device name 7 times.
5. Go back to My Fire TV.
6. Developer Options should now appear.
Note: Some newer Fire TV models, such as Fire TV devices running Vega OS, may not support sideloading or the Downloader app in the usual way.
